John Kerry

McCully lied, the resolution is substantially different from New Zealand and the United State’s previous positions

I told leaders from AIPAC that Israel has unequivocal evidence that the Obama administration led the effort to pass the anti-Israel resolution in the UN Security Council. There is no question whatsoever about that. None whatsoever.

I also said that the text of the Security Council resolution was not a reformulation of things that all previous administrations said, but was in fact a major break with US policy. Listen to my explanation, and please share it with people who have their facts wrong.

UN Resolution 2334 made Jerusalem the target of a Palestinian terror attack

The latest terror attack target in Jerusalem was determined by Murray McCully, John Kerry and Barack Obama’s disgusting anti-Israel resolution. The resolution declared Judaism’s holiest site, The Temple Mount and the Western Wall an exclusively Muslim Shrine. It ignored history and the fact that the Muslim Mosque is built on top of the ruins of previous Jewish temples. The resolution painted a huge bullseye on Jerusalem and is likely the justification for the latest Palestinian terrorist truck attack.

McCully, Kerry and Obama have blood on their hands. Far from promoting peace and a two-state solution the UN resolution that they drafted has been taken as a declaration of war on The Jewish people in Jerusalem by the emboldened Palestinian Muslim terrorists. In their minds, they have the approval of the United Nations for their actions because in their minds Jerusalem is now Palestinian territory.

Palestine reveals the real impediment to peace after rejecting Kerry’s Two State solution

The Palestinians have given John Kerry (the guy who worked hand in glove with our very own Murray McCully) a two-fingered salute to his two-state solution. They have revealed that the real impediment to peace was NOT the Israeli settlements but those pesky Jews wanting their half of the two-state solution to be recognised. That is a deal breaker for the tolerant Palestinians whose only requirement for peace is the total elimination of those pesky Jews.

Opposition Leader and Foreign Affairs spokesman not briefed on Israel resolution

After the Christchurch earthquakes, Opposition Leader Phil Goff complained that he hadn’t been briefed about alleged Israeli spies.  It was subsequently revealed on this blog that he had been briefed. What it did show though was that on matters affecting foreign policy especially relating to Israel convention dictates that the leader of the opposition should be briefed. When New Zealand took the lead in sponsoring UN resolution 2334 as the chair of the UN Security Council it should have been incumbent of foreign minister Murray McCully or at the very least a senior MFaT official to brief Labour leader Andrew Little and his foreign affairs spokesperson David Parker.

We put these questions to Andrew Little:

  1. Were you were briefed by anyone, including Murray McCully and/or Bill English and/or John Key?
  2. If you were briefed were you given full details of the process and resolution and did the briefing match what happened in reality?
  3. If you weren’t briefed why do you think they didn’t brief you?
  4. When John Kerry visited in November were you briefed on the contents of discussions with Murray McCully?

Andrew Little’s response is below in full and unedited:

Giant Douche v. Turd Sandwich

I have been discussing this year’s Presidential elections and been trying to work out which candidate is this year’s Giant Douche and which is the Turd Sandwich.

That argument has now been settled…by South Park, who invented the terms:

Leave it to South Park to make fun of nostalgia while flagrantly indulging in self-referential memories of its own.

Comedy Central’s animated mainstay hit a big milestone Wednesday night, kicking off its 20th season, fortuitously enough, during an election year. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s prankishly prescient approach to political satire has produced some of the show’s most memorable episodes in the past—and one of those episodes, Season 8’s “Douche and Turd,” just got an encore.

As in Season 19, Mr. Garrison served as a Donald Trump proxy in the season premiere—although it looks like he got a little spray tan in between seasons. Hillary Clinton, who also made a brief appearance last season, returned this season sporting a new blue suit. However, this episode introduced a new nickname for her: Turd Sandwich. And Garrison’s new moniker? Giant Douche.   Read more »

How does McCully feel about that Iran deal now?

While Murray McCully is still basking in the glow of sitting in the chair of the Security Council when the Iran deal was passed he should stop to think about the facts of the regime he just empowered.

We already know that just 24 hours after the vote Iran was talking about the destruction of Israel and the US, and now the New York Post‘s Amir Taheri has been able to obtain a copy of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s new book Palestine from Iran, where it has just been released.

Khamenei makes his position clear from the start: Israel has no right to exist as a state.

He uses three words. One is “nabudi,” which means “annihilation.” The other is “imha,” which means “fading out,” and, finally, there is “zaval,” meaning “effacement.”

Khamenei claims that his strategy for the destruction of Israel is not based on anti-Semitism, which he describes as a European phenomenon. His position is instead based on “well-established Islamic principles.”

One such principle is that a land that falls under Muslim rule, even briefly, can never again be ceded to non-Muslims. What matters in Islam is ownership of a land’s government, even if the majority of inhabitants are non-Muslims.

Khomeinists are not alone in this belief.    Read more »

Does John Kerry actually know shit from clay?

It appears Murray McCully is John Kerry’s bitch…or maybe not.

Oh how nice, thanked for the Iran deal…at least we will know who to blame when it all turns to custard, which it will.   Read more »

This is how stupid McCully was in doing a deal with Iran

How stupid was Murray McCully in facilitating, owning – and worse – crowing about his involvement in doing a deal that will see Iran re-armed and fuelling hate in the Middle East?

This stupid.

John Kerry has an oh f*ck! moment

The fools in Obama’s administration have just had a real oh fuck moment over Iran.

Not more than 24 hours after Murray McCully banged the gavel down approving the Iran nuclear deal were their leaders pronouncing death and destruction upon the US and Israel.

In an interview Tuesday, Secretary of State John Kerry said a recent speech by Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei calling for “Death to America” and vowing to maintain anti-American policies was “very disturbing, very troubling.”

“You heard ‘Death to Israel,’ ‘Death to the U.S.’ You could hear it. The whole nation was shaken by these slogans,” said Khamenei in a speech broadcast live on Iranian television Saturday. “So we ask Almighty God to accept these prayers by the people of Iran,” assuring citizens that the regime’s opposition to the “arrogant” U.S. “won’t change at all”:

KHAMENEI: The Islamic Republic of Iran will not give up support of its friends in the region — the oppressed people of Palestine, of Yemen, the Syrian and Iraqi governments, the oppressed people of Bahrain and sincere resistance fighters in Lebanon and Palestine… Our policy will not change with regards to the arrogant US government.

In an interview Tuesday with Saudi television network Al Arabiya, Kerry responded to Khamenei’s “troubling” speech.

“I don’t know how to interpret it at this point in time, except to take it at face value, that that’s his policy,” said Kerry. “But I do know that often comments are made publicly and things can evolve that are different,” he said, attempting to insert some sense of optimism, but added, “If it is the policy, it’s very disturbing, it’s very troubling.”

Shultz and Kissinger both pan the Obama Iran deal

There are warning signs that Obamas deal over Iran is starting to get speed wobbles.

There is no certainty he can get it past Congress and now elder statesmen like Henry Kissinger and George Schultz are expressing reservations.

Two former US secretaries of state – Henry Kissinger and George Shultz – penned an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday criticizing President Barack Obama for the framework agreement his administration reached with Iran last week.

The former top diplomats said that the framework agreement with Iran effectively concedes any option of using military force to compel Iranian compliance.

“Mixing shrewd diplomacy with open defiance of UN resolutions, Iran has gradually turned the negotiation on its head,” Kissinger and Shultz wrote in the Journal. “Iran’s centrifuges have multiplied from about 100 at the beginning of the negotiation to almost 20,000 today. The threat of war now constrains the West more than Iran.”

“While Iran treated the mere fact of its willingness to negotiate as a concession, the West has felt compelled to break every deadlock with a new proposal. In the process, the Iranian program has reached a point officially described as being within two to three months of building a nuclear weapon. Under the proposed agreement, for 10 years Iran will never be further than one year from a nuclear weapon and, after a decade, will be significantly closer.”   Read more »
