In one week Movember will be all over. Thanks to Aaron Gilmore, Dpf and Busted Blonde for their donations and Barnsley Bill for his token support. The rest of the blogosphere appear to be a bunch of tight fisted homo’s, which if you get Prostate Cancer you will find out all about “fisting”, so to speak.

The money raised by Movember is used to raise awareness of men’s health issues and donated to the Cancer Society of New Zealand and the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand. These two charities will use the money raised to fund research and increase support networks for those affected with prostate cancer and experiencing depression.

Did you know:

• Depression affects 1 in 10 men….Most people who experience depression make a full recovery. The first step is seeking help.
• Last year in New Zealand 2,700 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer and more than 600 died of prostate cancer – (that’s nearly two each day).

Now, I know personally that depression ain’t a barrel of laughs, I shudder to even contemplate what prostate cancer would be like, so how about it?, dip into your pocket and donate. It’s tax deductable don’t ya know.

There have been a couple of news items recently with me in them.

Radio NZ Mediawatch of 2 November carried our interview with them.

Ali Ikram featured my Two Helens Youtube ad on Sunrise monday morning.

Ok so I’ve been crook, I haven’t had any appetite for three days, I have eaten nothing for except a pot of youghurt. So today when I got hungry I felt like a Lust Pizza from Hell.

My groupie friend warned me that Hell Mana are a big bunch of useless twats none more so than the manager Mark Hughes who she described as a “BCSD”.

I couldn’t possibly believe that her experience could be like that. In Auckland Hell rocks, pizzas arrive on time, piping hot.

So I go to their website, logon with my usual id and go through the process of ordering, changing the address for delivery and paying by credit card. Everything worked, even got thanked for my order. Normally the site by Spikefin works a treat.

And then I waited and waited and waited. After the appointed time that my yummy pizza was supposed to be delivered I started to get annoyed. After another 40 minutes I was fair bloody angry so I rang the useless twats, while my groupie friend cackled mercilessly on the floor saying “I sooooo told you”

I rang and got some spotty rude little minimum wage edjit who must be Mark’s cousin otherwise why would he employ him. He denied all knowledge of the order and basically said tough shit when I said I was starving and asked where my pizza was. I hung up on him after telling him to write down the blog address and show it to Mark.

Hell Pizza Mana you suck, your customer service sucks and your system must be so complicated that your trained monkeys that masqurade as staff can’t even use it. Clearly your staff screening procedures are woefully inadequate, either that or you have a special policy of hiring low IQ dimwitted fools for staff. This is what happens when the minimum wage is raised above the capacity of even our most simple citizens.

This was a hellish experience and one I am not likely to repeat.
