Anti-Corruption Commission needed urgently

More revelations of the graft of Winston Raymond Peters, 63, List MP of no fixed abode and proven liar have been aired on TVNZ tonight.

Worse still both Peters and Clark tried to supress this information. One News fought them through the Ombudsman and has finally recieved an email trail that proves that WRP,63,LMPONFAAPL has been lobbying really very hard for Owen Glenn to be honorary consul to Monaco.

The emails also detail his tantrums when officials reject his suggestion of Glenn for the job.

These email prove once again that WRP,63,LMPONFAAPL can’t tell the truth even if his life depended upon it.

Helen Clark is also donkey deep in this. After all she knew about Owen Glenn’s donation to Peters both through Glenn and through Mike Williams. She sees no problem with this graft from one of her ministers.

Meanwhile though she has been bleating about the ethics of Peter Dunne remaining a minister because he said he doesn’t want to go with an AXIS Hydra after the election.

So get this straight, it is ethical to receive hundreds of thousands of dollars in undeclared donations, lie about them, lie to a Privileges Committee, still not declare them, force through policy concessions on behalf of your donors and push for a diplomatic post for a large donor but it is unethical to say you don’t like the prospects of an AXIS Hydra.

It is ethical to nick money from the taxpayer and then setup a dodgy trust to pay your mates but it is unethical to own 1000 shares in a power company and ask a couple of questions.

Add to that the Philip Field saga and the so far untouched by the MSM, Shane Jones immigration scam you would think that we have a massive corruption problem and you would be right.

It is past time for New Zealand to join the rest of the world and establish an Independent Commission Against Corruption.

The only thing that is clear about this government is that Helen Clark thinks ethics is county in Southern England.

The Crook's Trust

Brian Henry, proven liar, has decided to open his trap in the Herald to defend the so-called Susan Couch Trust.

His whimperings don’t actually help his and Winston’s cause, in fact they show how disdainful the both of them are with public monies.

Meanwhile Big News has some bad news for Winston and his dodgy tax avoider mates. Susan Couch actually doesn’t know anything about this dodgy scheme.

I’ve been told that Susan Couch knows absolutely nothing about the Trust that bears her name. Apparently she doesn’t even know why it bears her name. She has no details of it all, she has no idea what bank account it is, who arranged the bank account that the NZ First money went to, or apparently, whether she’ll get any money from the Trust.

She thinks her name is potentially tarnished. If her name is tarnished, someone will be very angry.

I have an old friend who always says “If it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck then it most probably is a duck”, in this case if it looks like a scam and sounds like a scam and Winston Raymond Peters, 63, of no fixed abode and proven liar is involved then it most probably is a scam.

WINSTON MIXED WITH $3 BILLION OFFSHORE TAX AVOIDERS

I haven’t yet posted on the “Couch Trust” because I have been following my own line of investigations regarding this craven political act of manipulation.

Winston Raymond Peters, 63, List MP of no fixed abode certainly has some strange bedfellows and i’m not just talking about his interesting neighbours in Argyle Street, or Tommy Gear, Brian Deadman and Johnny Glozier. No, his latest pals are large scale serial tax avoiders.

The man pictured below is Kevin Gillespie. He was the settlor of “The Couch Trust”.

Kevin Gillespie

Mr Gillespie has a rich and varied career prior to his involvement with the “Couch Trust”. He also has links with Winston Peters’ sugar daddy’s The Vela brother’s

Gillespie is heavily involved in the Trinity Forest tax avoidance case – with links not to the Cook Islands as Winston is so fond of, but the British Virgin Islands. Gillespie held all the directorships for The Trinity Foundation (and related entities) and was a shareholder of The Trinity Foundation

Fact – Winston and his legal advisors are and continue to be involved with an Accountant at the centre of NZ’s largest tax avoidance case where the defendants were found guilty of a $3.7 billion tax avoidance

NZ Herald link

In a judgment delivered this week the court found in favour of the Inland Revenue Department and ruled that more than $3 billion in tax deductions claimed by investors in the Trinity Foundation constituted tax avoidance.

The scheme attracted some high-profile investors, but most settled with IRD before a 2004 judgment in which the High Court ruled against the scheme. The names of those participants are suppressed.

NZ Herald link

The judge said that, instead, copies of the documents were produced in court after being located by the Serious Fraud Office in the British Virgin Islands

And the individual lawyers involved and named as promoters in the Trinity case?

None other than the same lawyers used by Vela Fisheries in their Court of Appeal case which surprisingly related to – TAX.

There are many more dots to be joined but why spoil the fun of a long dance of a 1000 cuts.

Bribery and Corruption Scandal engulfs Labour

On the very day that Poneke declared in his usual shrill tone that there was no corruption in New Zealand, Ian Wishart provides substantive proof of serious and large scale bribery and corruption in the on-going cash for citizenship scandal.

Shane Jones, his staff and relatives of his staff who were key campaign strategists for Labour are all donkey deep in this corruption, bribery and graft scandal.

Ian Wishart has got to the bottom of this and it promises to not go away. Unlike the Taito Philip Field scandal, I don’t think Clark will be able to sweep this under the carpet.

In an election about trust we have now discovered yet another Labour MP on the take.

Poneke should stick to writing about buses and public transport in wellington. It is as clear as the nose on your face that Helen Clarks government has lived up to her 1999 promise of bringing a new standard of accountability to government. A very, very low standard involving corruption, graft, bribery and theft.

Trust Helen Clark to govern another term? Not on your life.

Lie through your teeth says Electoral Commission

The shallow media reckon that Winston Raymond Peters, 63, List MP of no fixed abode and proven liar and his less than honest party have been exonerated by the Electoral Commission.

Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact the Electoral Commission has basically lowered the required standard for party workers with regard to party financing. Basically the best policy for parties is to do a Sgt Schultz and deny knowing anything. That way they are in the clear while an unnamed party (Winston) is the one that did the lying.

Matthew Hooton has the best summary of this whole sorry debacle.

Well, if you are a party secretary trying to hide where your funding is coming from – or a party secretary who is being kept in the dark by your leader about where your funding is coming from – you are best to file a false nil return. If no one in the media asks questions, you will get away with making this false return. Then, if you get caught by the media, you can file a corrected return and the Electoral Commission will decide to ignore the fact you filed a false return in the first instance.

So, for Winston Peters (and Radio New Zealand, Chris Trotter and Richard Griffin on Morning Report this morning) to be claiming he has come out of this smelling of roses is quite wrong. Neither the party secretary nor any one else has been cleared for the 2005 and 2006 returns. Peters has not been “cleared” for his own role in the 2007 return. And it hardly a clearance for the party secretary given it is a matter of public record that she filed a false and late return for 2007, and is only off the hook because she filed a second one after the media inquired into the matter.

Winston Raymond Peters, 63, List MP of no fixed abode and proven liar continues to remain as a cancer and blight upon the body politic of New Zealand. Remember people, a vote for Winston is a vote for a Labour governement and a vote for Labour is a vote for continued support of corruption.

Hughes drops Labour in the poop

On Morning Report this morning after 7.45 Gerry Brownlee dealt to Darren Hughes, it was all pretty mundane but Gerry managed to get Hughes to talk too much.

Hughes reckoned that the fliers asking if people wanted the Labour propaganda were delivered free by his committed team of volunteers. A very dopey statement indeed, when trying to draw a line between campaigning and government literature.

So get this right, Labour Party functionaries hand delivered fliers for free on behalf of Parliamentary Services and it wasn’t campaigning!!!!!

I see a Tui ad coming up.

I agree with DPF this sort of material should be banned in the 90 days before the election. The only things MP’s should be advertising are the office details of their electorate office and those ads should be in grayscale.

Labour's hands in cookie jar again

Outrage over Labour’s taxpayer-funded brochuresNational are claiming that Labour has its finger back in the public purse to help spread its message in the lead-up to this election. [3 News Politics]

The lead item on TV3 News was Labour once again rorting election laws and dipping their grasping clutching hands into the taxpayers till to fund their re-election.

What was a small story two weeks ago in the Herald has today blown up massively in the face of the government. The public will not tolerate such blatent theft of public monies.

Once National is elected they must urgently set up an Independent Commission against Corruption to go back to at least 2002 and look at all parties but especially Labour and NZ First to assertain the extent of their theft and rorts of the public purse.

We must now also review the amounts of money that our politicians spend and open up Parliamentary Service to full transparency by bring it into the OIA framework.

The public funding of political parties must be brought to an end.

Laywer called over TV stoush

Laywer called over TV stoushA television stoush between New Zealand First leader Winston Peters and a National Party insider got so heated filming was stopped and the show’s lawyer called in. Right-wing commentator Matthew Hooton called Peters a “f***ing… [NZ Herald Politics]

It seems that Winston Raymond peters, 63, List MP of no fixed abode and proven liar is now getting to write Herald articles. I say that because right at the bottom of the piece in the HoS is a quote from a NZ First staffer about the show being the worst thing he has ever seen. He wasn’t even there so to make such a comment suggests that there are tapes of the stoush being sent about the place.

Hooton gives a somewhat more sanitised version of event on his blog. At least there we know that it is actually Hooton that writes the blog posts, not some lickspittle called Frank.

Matthew feels guilty about calling WRP, 63 LMPONFAAPL a “fucking cunt” when most other people haven’t been able to. Matthew shouldn’t feel guilty and if the VRWC awarded medals for meritorius conduct under fire then he would be the first recipient.

Hopefully on Tuesday when the blogmobile arrives in Tauranga we will be able to capture on film someone else calling Winston a fucking, lying, corrupt, cunt.

Winston breaks Cabinet rules and Clark gives him cuddles

Rodney Hide asked the Prime Minister legitimate questions about Winston Raymond Peters, 63, List MP of no fixed abode and his dodgy trip side trip to Las Vegas. Clark has finally deigned to answer them and the answers prove that WRP, 63, LMPONFA has no regard for the rules set down in the Cabinet Manual let alone the laws of the land.

Question: What gifts, if any, has Rt Hon Winston Peters obtained her permission to retain in the last three years as required by Cabinet Manual guideline 2.79?

Answer Text: Ministers who accept gifts worth more than the prescribed value (currently $500) must disclose them to the Registrar of Pecuniary Interests of Members of Parliament. Ministers must also relinquish them, unless they obtain the express permission of the Prime Minister to retain them. The practice is for that permission to be sought at the time a Minister leaves office. Mr Peters has not asked for permission to retain any gifts he may have received.

This is a delicious answer. So on November 9 when john key is the prime Minister I fully expect him to demand that WRP, 63, LMPONFA pay back the “gifts” he has now declared, namely the $40,000 of donations from the Spencer Trust.

Question: Following Rt Hon Winston Peters admission in the Herald on Sunday 14 September 2008 that he made a private trip from Berlin to Las Vegas to the Oscar de la Hoya – Floyd Mayweather fight while overseas as Foreign Minister, can she confirm whether she knew about the trip; if so, on what date did she know, and had Mr Peters obtained her prior approval for the trip as required by Cabinet Manual guideline 2.113?

Answer Text: The Prime Minister was informed about the trip, which took place in 2007, on 5 September 2008.

At the time that Mr Peters official travel was approved, the Prime Minister did not give approval for the personal trip because she was not made aware of it.

The Prime Minister has reminded Ministers of the Cabinet Manual requirements relating to Ministers and personal travel.

So the Prime minister confirms that WRP, 63, LMPONFA has breached the Cabinet Manual instructions, not once but at least twice. Once for failing to notify her of the junket to las Vegas and second for not declaring the donation from the Spencer Trust. She is saying that if she decided to say he can’t keep the donation then he doesn’t have to pay it back until after he leaves the job. She could, of course sack his lying ass tomorrow and demand teh money back forthwith. She won’t though because she has signed a pact with the devil himself.
