Worm

Bad luck for the Poms and Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys

It seems some flat worms are devastating France’s snail population.

Snails, one of France’s signature dishes, could be off the menu if the country fails to stem an invasion by a slimy worm from Southeast Asia, scientists warned on Tuesday.

The warning is being sounded over a voracious species called the New Guinea flatworm.

It is already on a list of the 100 most dangerous invasive species in the world as it has a relentless appetite for native snails and earthworms in places where it has been introduced.

Workers at a botanical gardens in Caen, Normandy, called in scientific help after they spotted a strange, dark, flat-as-a-pancake worm among their greenhouse plants.

Reporting in the journal PeerJ on Tuesday, a team of French experts said DNA tests had confirmed their worst fears: Platydemus manokwari has arrived in Europe.

“This species is extraordinarily invasive,” said Jean-Lou Justine of the National Museum of Natural History. “I really hope it can be stopped at the earliest stages.”¬† Read more »

Even the Worm Hates Winston

Despite the media manipulation on Stuff about the worm, and despite the stacking of the panel by the Labour party, the debate did tell us one thing.

Winston is toxic, even to the worm.

Media Manipulation

On Stuff this morning is a story about how the worm loves Phil Goff. Of course we now know that Labour had stacked the panel with their own supporters. Stuff doesn’t even make mention of this.

Worse though is the pictures down the side. They are so misleading. they imply that when Phil Goff talked about Winston Peters that teh worm went up indicating support and when John Key talked about him the worm went down.

This wasn’t how I remembered the worm when Winston Peters was mentioned, so I reviewed the video online and took my own screenshots at the time of those comments.

Phil Goff definately has the worm in negative when her expressed trust in Winston Peters. Even his own stacked worm panel hates Winston Peters.

When John Key made his quoted comment about Winston peters the worm wasn’t even on¬†the¬†screen:

The media wonders why we don’t trust them. This is why. They have deliberately given a false impression. The whole debate is tarnished now with dirt. Tv3 didn’t screen their panel properly and used poor recruiting methods, Labour stacked and manipulated the worm panel in a sneaky and furtive manner and now Fairfax is manipulating impressions based on misleading images and statements.

Once again we have the media trying to influence an election and make it all about them instead of reporting what is having. It is shameful that this election has been overtaken by media mega-ego manipulators.

How TV3 recruited their “Undecided” Panel

TV3 have been busted as have Labour with Labour plants in the supposedly “undecided” worm panel.

Here is how they recruited their panel of “undecided” voters….via email…to known political activists.

Hi Everyone,

We are inviting people to attend the TV3  leaders debate on 21st November in the studio in Eden Terrace. I have blind copied this email to ensure your privacy.

We are putting together an audience from a range of backgrounds to attend the debate. It starts at 5.45 pm and finishes at about 8pm. All those attending get $70 to cover travel costs and  any expenses incurred.

Refreshments  will be provided and I am sure it will be an interesting evening for those who go.
If this sounds like something you would like to do please send me a reply with the best day time phone number to contact you on and I will give you a call in the next day or so.

If you have friends you think would like to go to this please feel free to forward this email to them.

All the best

Random? Nope.¬†Undecided? Not likely. Orchestrated and manipulated by political activists…you bet.

This is a major credibility failure from TV3 and from Roy Morgan. It makes a mockery now of headlines that include any reference to the worm.

Don’t forget to get your Worm software

The worm is back tonight:

Expect even more relentless repetition of upbeat language than usual from Prime Minister John Key and Labour leader Phil Goff as the worm returns for tonight’s leaders’ debate on TV3.

The debate will use the Roy Morgan Reactor, more commonly known as “the worm”, to measure the response of a studio audience of undecided voters selected for a balance of gender and age.

You can download the Roy Morgan Reactor App (the Worm) for people with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch from the Apple App Store.

For those with Android devices you can get it from the Android Marketplace.

For those of you who think you can’t be bothered, check out this email sent to the Labour email database last night by Trevor Mallard. Labour are going to try to stack the worm in their favour…all power to them, but we can’t let them have it all their own way.

Get your worm app

As you probably already know on the November 21 TV3 election debate they are letting people with smart phones participate with the Roy Morgan Reactor App (the Worm) for people with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

You can download the Roy Morgan Reactor App (the Worm) for people with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch from the Apple App Store.

For those with Android devices you can get it from the Android Marketplace.

Loyal army members with these devices should download in preparation.
