Reasonable summary of Tax Positions

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

The Herald has a reasonable summary of the relative tax positions of each party.

I see the Herald has finally bought Mrs Peter Davis’ line that Working for (other peoples) Families is tax relief.

This is pure BS….in no way can it be construed as tax relief…but the MSM as usual has given away all thought processes and succumbed to the party line.

This analysis would have been better for National’s tax policy and I think the time has now come that Brash steps up and says he putting the petty politics aside about the election date and announcing his tax policy so that New Zealanders can see that Labours billboards and fear-mongering is all poppycock.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
