Toyota 'sheep shagger' ad prompts 17 complaints

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

A Toyota commercial in which two animated bulls hijack a farmer’s ute to impress two cows and call a ram a “sheep shagger” has prompted 17 complaints to the Advertising Standards Complaints Board.

Would the wowsers of this nations please, pretty please shut the f**k up and stop putting in vexatious complaints about advertising. I reckon they should charge people $5000 to complain.

In its determination, the authority found the commercial was essentially an animated fantasy which was “obviously beyond the realm of reality”.

So why did these morons complain…..because they called a ram a “sheep shagger” and the ute was “rockin” at the end, oh and reckless driving exhibited by the bulls!!!

PC madness continues to reign in New Zealand.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
