National is 6 points ahead

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

As blogged earlier, National is 6 points ahead, and here are the numbers:

National 43
Labour 37
NZ First 7
Greens 6
United Future 3
ACT 1
Maori 1

The poll was a decent sample of 1086 people (compared with the last sunday polls) and takes in the major issues of the last two weeks:

Today’s is the first substantive poll since Dr Brash was forced to
apologise for misleading the public over how much he knew about a $500,000
Exclusive Brethren campaign to topple Labour.

It appears National has emerged unscathed. But Labour, which dropped 4
points from the same poll 12 days ago, appears to be paying the price for NZ
First’s revival.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him, you can’t ignore him.
