Auckland have won their 15th first division NPC title tonight with a 39-11 win over Otago at Eden Park in Auckland.

Auckland 39 (Tries – Kevin Mealamu, Doug Howlett, Brad Mika, Ben Atiga, Mils Muliaina, Taniela Moa; Cons – Brent Ward 2, Ben Atiga; Pens – Brent Ward)
Otago 11 (Tries – Josh Blackie; Pens – Nick Evans 2)

In the thirty years of NPC rugby Auckland have now won 15 times and since the finals concept introduced in the 90’s 7 times.
