Liar-bour drops challenge to Hide in Epsom

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

Epsom voters, surely amongst some of the more asute in the vagaries of MMP can rest easy knowing that Rodney Hide will remain their chosen MP.

Liar-bour has decided not to challenge Rodney’s spending.

“Our back-of-the-envelope calculation I think was $36,000, but it was going to cost us $100,000 to do it and strategically we think he drags National to the right and makes them unelectable.”

So says Mike Williams. Oh yeah Mike the real reason is you haven’t got a hundy, have ya. So poor is the Liar-bour Party they had to steal from the taxpayer to get themselves re-elected.

Hide has the last say.

“Mike Williams would be better to get out and meet more people rather than sitting in the back room always plotting and trying to be tricky.”

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
