Maori Party gains 5th MP

The Maori Party’s fifth MP has just been sworn in yesterday. Like his new found friends, Mr Tanczos also tried to insert a reference to the treaty in the oath of allegiance.

Poor old Rod left a vacancy in Parliament that bought back an MP that they’d already dropped down their list, and openly defies parliamentary procedure in a place that Rod loved so much.
