WTF…unions with rocks in their heads

[Imported from Whale Oil Beef Hooked on Blogger]

More inanities from the union movement.

The Postal Workers Federation says mail sorters who survive New Zealand Post job cuts – will deserve very large wage hikes.

The company’s announced up 650 jobs will go in the next 5 years – while an $80-million investment in machinery will boost mail sorting technology.

Union advocate, Graham Clark, says workers will have to learn how to use the machinery.

And precisely why will they deserve very large wage hikes?

All that will do dumbass is give management more reasons to get rid of staff in favour of machinery.

So what if workers will have to learn to use the machinery…..duh!!! That is what probably 2 hours training will achieve. I still can’t quite see how this all justifies a very large wage hike.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
