Good on these guys for using the power of online auctioning to save themself thousands in agents fees. The quote from the real estate agent is exactly what you’d expect… wouldn’t want anyone trying to sell something all by themself now!!

Martin Dunn, who specialises in Auckland city apartment sales, said he would have expected the apartment to sell for between $110,000 and $120,000.

But he warned that selling apartments without real estate agents was "extremely dangerous".

"I think they are playing with fire. Selling an apartment is much more complex than selling suburban real estate," he said.
