Oh sure, thats a good reason to not increase Police numbers

The government is concerned that increasing Police numbers will strain the already supposedly overcrowded prison system.

Just what we wanted to hear. "Sorry can’t possibly increase Police numbers because we might catch more criminals and then the porr wee souls would have to share a cell"

Bugger off. Do your friggin job abd stop whining, the vast majority of New Zealanders don’t give a toss what prison conditions are like. In fact most would probably say pack in more and give them bunks.

To top it off the government is now looking at reviewing criminal justice legislation to avoid sending people to jail.

Typical bloody socialists, they just don’t get it. New Zealanders want criminals incarcerated not on the street.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
