Dishonest Labour Party politician at Auckland City

It's not just in Parliament that Labour and the left are being dishonest – they are doing it right down to the community board level in Auckland City.
David Maka – is also a JP, a planning commisioner, and also involved as the ex officio representative of the board on the local Otahuhu mainstreet. He was also number 50 on the Labour list for 2002.
Curiously, for a person pleading not guilty, he is selling his home to repay $84,000 to the organisations.
Even worse about his crime, he has been alleged by the cops of taking money from a trust that he helped allocate money to in his role as boardmember.
If this is the case, he should resign immediately from the board. I wonder hat Richard Northey and Bruce Hucker will be doing to ensure that Labour upholds integrity at Auckland City.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
