Don't pay your student loan back – Retirement Commissioner

Bill English has discovered that sorted.org.nz is encouraging students to NOT pay their loans back early.
Mr English quoted the commissioner's sorted.org.nz website: "Usually we suggest that people pay off debt as fast as they can, given that the longer they hold the loan, and the bigger it is, the more interest they pay. Student loads will be different (as of April 1 2006) because if you're living in NZ you won't be paying interest."
Watch the student loan debt balloon with this policy, contrary to Clarks and Cullen assurances during the election. Treasury is already "burping" that uptake is increasing.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
