Hide Evicted

It seems that Rodney Hide has been kicked out of his office for is part in the Pope David-Benson saga.

The office was provided free of charge by Bob Jones, but in a recent message to Pope David-Benson he wrote: "A quick note to say how disgusted I am at Hyde's [sic] loathsome carry-on re tennis-balls etc… I cannot find anyone not of the same view."

Has Hide's "muckraking" gone too far, or has Bob Jones just spat the dummy?? Probably a bit of both!

Hide and Judith Collins did the right thing by exposing Benson-Pope and for keeping up the attacks when he lied to Parliament. But on the other hand, rarely do we ever hear policy being promoted by Rodney. It is always scandal, scandal, scandal.

This story doesn't reflect too well on Bob Jones either though. What the hell is Jones doing sending letters of support to a Minister who should have resigned months ago?!

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him, you can’t ignore him.
