Now the penny drops

NZ Herald has done an update on their Greens Co-Leader Election Story.

Wise ol' Nandor has just told his party what everyone else has been thinking for years – that they are just lap dogs for Labour!

Strangely though, he is also quoted as saying: "The real issue is, how is New Zealand going to be a sustainable nation with a sustainable economy?"

Honestly Nandor, that damn Kyoto Protocol will be the death of any sustainable economy. There is a reason why countries like the US will never sign up – it will do nothing but cost a helluva lot of money!

On a light note though, I love the irony in the fact that it was the election campaign that Russell Norman ran that saw Nandor lose his seat in Parliament. Now the two are fighting for the co-leadership.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
