Labour Conman nicked the money to pay a mugu

You might recall this story :
The follow up is in the Herald this morning:
The dumb arse fell for a Nigerian type scam , and then conned others
to pay for it. Sounds like some of Labour's fiscal policies if you ask me!
Maka should have resigned months ago, and its an appalling indictment
on the uselessness of the local Labour politicians at Auckland City that they've allowed him to continue on the board. Local community board chairwoman Kate Sutton, yes, her of Kete Were and About Town fame, should hang her head in shame at how she's allowed Maka to not attend the meetings, but presumably collect his fees and honorarium for the past 6 months.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him, you can’t ignore him.
