The other Espiner joins the shit list

Colin Espiner will now be on Cullens and Clarks shit list.
This will be not for his agenda over tax cuts but for his comments on Labours Health Cuts . He conveniently lists their health woes.
  • Junior doctors have gone on strike, crippling hospital services and disrupting thousands of patients.
  • Fresh doubts have emerged over the adequacy of the maternity care system.
  • People with benign tumours have been sent home by their specialists and told to wait until the tumours get bigger or turn cancerous.
  • Thousands have been culled from waiting lists, 4500 in Canterbury.
  • The aged-care sector has been dogged by claims of under-funding and elder abuse.
  • Warnings have emerged of a GP crisis as hundreds prepare to leave the profession.
  • The Ministry of Health has been severely criticised for under-preparedness for bird flu.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
