Government presides over sick country

Labour is crowing about the drop in unemployment and on the surface it looks fantastic, but the reality is somewhat more concerning.

Since 2000, yes thats right every year since has been a Labour government, sickness and invalid benefits have risen 47 and 38 percent respectively. They may find those stas hard to pin on National.

So what is happening?

Is New Zealand becoming sicker?

Do we have more Invalids?

What about the billions extra spent in Vote Health?

Shouldn't these numbers be going down as well?

All valid questions. You can only hide the truth for so long and people only believe your spin for so long as well.

The pigeons are coming home to roost.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
