Imagine the Olympics the New Zealand way

Today in Auckoloafa 3 gold medals were handed out in XXX Olympiad.

The first was to Tommy Fallofasofa in the Discus who won after three "Did Not Attempt" throws.

Buoyed by that success the Kiwi rowing eight won the Gold medal without even leaving the blocks in their final. In fact they didn't even get in the boat leaving all the other eights to pointlessly row the distance. Having completed several races in the lead up to the Olympiad it was felt that the eight was by far an away the best at the Olympiad despite their "Did Not Attempt".

Finally in the 1500 metres, Wellington based runner Betty B'argearse didn't even leave home and clearly was the best on the day, eventually standing on the podium two days later to recieve her Gold medal. Having done enough during the year the Olypiad decided that even though she had record a "Did not Attempt" she would clearly have won anyway and so dished out the medal.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
