Ray of Hope, my arse

Labour has extended the Welcome Home Mortgage insurance package so that home buyers can get a $150,000 home with no deposit or a $280,000 home with a 5 % deposit.

That sounds great but is it.

Harcourts (search for homes under $150,000 in Auckland)

Barfoot and Thompson (search for homes unser $150,000 in Auckland) 213 returns but no houses, most weere PBN or Auction so don't count, the rest were shoe box studio apartments.

Now if Harcourts and Barfoots don't have anything there are probably no houses in the narket in Auckland for $150,000.

So, thanks Labour from Auckland, A Ron Mark Salute for that helpful little package.

Labour are fricken dreamin' if they think this is going to help even one person in Auckland.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him, you can’t ignore him.
