Kaboom, and North Korea joins the club

North Korea has announced that they have successfully tested a nuclear weapon.

Of course everyone will now throw their collective arms in the air and then do precisely nothing.

They will do nothing because that is all you can do with a country like North Korea. You can't apply sanctions because they will do nothing to an already impoverished country. You can't invade them because, well, because they have the bomb. So in essence the world can do sweet FA about it.

This just confirms the abject failure of the peaceniks at the Uited Nations. I think it is time we disbanded the whole sorry lot.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
