So what does the report say

Contrary to the reports in the SST on the weekend there appears to have been no watering down of the report.

I have just finished reading it and am left with disquiet that Labour may have in fact stolen the election by spending $800,000 more than they were entitled to.

The A-G clearly thinks that the appropriations were unlawful and nowhere can I see does he mention confusions or honest mistakes. Those words are left to be uttered as spin from Labour and the Speaker.

SImply paying back the funds is not enough. Labour have now by paying it back clearly breached the Electoral Act by spending more than allowed. Police should now reinvestigate.

By simply pro rata applying the funds across each of the MP's in Labour and NZ First I believe you could now find that each has committed a corrupt practice by overspending.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him, you can’t ignore him.
