Compensate our Veterans

it is time to compensate our Viet Nam veterans.

They were sent to a war with little or no thanks and whilst their systematically poisoned with the vilest of chemicals. So vile that New Zealand is only just waking up to the horros of Dioxin poison foisted upon us by intransigent governments of the past.

The veterans had it worse as they were directly sprayed with both 245-T and 24-D ixed together into what we now know as Agent Orange. New Zealand was the last place to manufacture both of these chemicals.

It is time for an apology and time for some real compensation and not the sort of compensation that gets paid to the R.S.A so they can thieve it either. I am talking about direct compensation to the veterans whilst they still live.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
