Kiwisaver may be Kiwiloser

Bernard over at Sir Humphreys has a nice analysis of the flawed Kiwisaver plan.

I call this plan "Di-worse-ification".

It is deeply flawed and yet another example of how the laws of unintended consequences operate.

People think National has to provide alternatives. I don’t agree…yet. My view is that with all of these deeply flawed policies out there people who bought into the bribes will soon enough find out the trap they have locked themselves into. At that point Labour is completely gone never to return.

Examples are as above, the Working For Families package which locks you into a poverty trap…people are just now waking up to that little gotcha., the worsening hospital situation etc, etc.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him, you can’t ignore him.
