Leigh Auton the council CEO has backtracked  and has called the irregular and earlier-than-anticipated first assembly of councillors for the new year, after aletter from six councilors was delivered to him by Cr Jami-lee Ross.

Finally the city has some councilors prepared to stand up to the whims of the Lord Mayor.
