We are all better off….

We must be the government says so….of course they don’t seem to be taking David’s advice or anyone else’s either.

Witness this mornings article, where it starts of by telling us the government says we are all better off and spends the rest of article with the words John Key on almost every line, till you get to the bottom and find even the Greens agree with John Key.
"We seem to care less about eliminating hunger among New Zealand children than we do about yacht races,"
Sue Kedgley was talking about the cost of breakfast in all decile 1 schools at $25 million compared with the $33 million the government is pouring into trying to win back the Americas Cup. She kinda has a point doesn’t she?

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
