Gee, Here's a thought, maybe condoms don't work

A couple of researchers have found that despite ongoing campaigns about "safe sex" and the use of condoms our gonorrhea rates are soaring.
In Auckland, the rate was 45 cases per 100,000 people in the first quarter of 2006, almost double the 27 cases per 100,000 over the same period in 2001.

In the Bay of Plenty, incidence rates over the same period rose from 14 to 38 per 100,000, and a similar increase was recorded in Waikato.

The study also revealed a concerning increase in the number of antibiotic-resistant cases of gonorrhoea, as the incidence of the disease steadily rises nationally.

A third of the 204 gonorrhoea cases identified at the Auckland clinics were resistant to treatment with the antibiotic ciprofloxacin.
Having just finished Eve's Bite I have some sort of idea why the rates are soaring along with every other STD known to man….that is because despite the government's millions being spent on telling us all to practice "safe sex" with condoms there are two things that are blindingly obvious to all;

 1. "Safe Sex" isn't
 2.  Condoms don't work for the prevention/control/anything to do with STD's

That's it, end of story.
