Mallard announces Tax Cuts……in Australia!!!

Finance Minister wannabe seems to be cutting the legs out from under Cullen.

He has said to the Melbourne Age that New Zealand is considering overhauling its tax scales to stem the flow of skilled workers crossing the Tasman in search of higher pay in Australia.

With a net 650 New Zealanders a week migrating to Australia, Economic Development Minister Trevor Mallard has warned that there is growing pressure for tax cuts to help curb the brain drain.
"There is quite a strong view building in New Zealand that at some stage we want to do an income tax reduction," Mr Mallard told BusinessDay.

"I've got no doubt that it will be addressed in the next budget."
I guess Cullen will have to take Trev out and quietly drown him.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
