20Free except if you live in Auckland

Labour's much vaunted flagship policy of 20FreeSubsidised is a failure.

Maharey callously refuses to blame himself. with him and Clark accusing National and some senior figures in the industry of sabotaging his pet policy.

National is right, instead of the promised thouroughbred we get a donkey, and it has mange.

Because this policy as ill-thoughtout, plus it was almost a brain-fart on the campaign trail the implementation has been woeful.

Despite all the spin people can see through the deceit and clearly Labour's 20Free is far from free, at best it is a subsidy, at worst a blatant broken election promise and a lie.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
