Duh oh! Labour has more cock-ups than Homer

Blunder reveals size of Reserve Bank arsenal – Stuff.co.nz

Labour is now officially prone to accidents, like a geriatric is prone to breaking hips when they fall. They keep tripping up and in the past such trips went un-noticed. Now the trips are blazened all over the papers and the blogs.

Like the proverbial alzheimers patient they too are stunned that such things keep happening.

Cullen, himself already a geriatric is latest to blunder with his office releasing to the Sunday Star-Times secret information about how much hurt the reserve bank can sustain when it steps into the currency market. The SST was threatened with legal action if it did not return the documents immediately.
”It’s up there with a Budget leak,” said Key. “It’s a potentially devastating error to make if the information was in the wrong hands. Intervention is always a game of cat and mouse.”

“In essence, you’re telling your enemy the size of your arsenal, which is never a particularly clever thing to do.”
Has Michael Cullen become the Homer Simpson of New Zealand politics?

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him, you can’t ignore him.
