Labour is so broke they nicked $1000 to pay for their red boxes

Party advertising in Parliament draws complaint – 15 Aug 2007 – NZ Herald: New Zealand National news

Labour is so obviously and utterly broke that they just have to help themselves to the public purse at every turn.

The latest theivery is for the provision of their little red boxes with the Labour logo and the give away parliamentary crest. Senior Government whip Tim Barnett said the red boxes were handed out at yesterday’s caucus meeting and had cost less than $20 each.

Hmmm….50 MP’s @ $20 per box is $1000 that the thieving scum don’t have, so they nick it from parliamentary funds. Outrageous, you would have thought that they had learned better behavior with public funds, but no they are stuck in the old ways.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.
