Winston is an arsehole

Winston Peters is a first class arsehole. Witness this exchange from parliament today with Nick Smith.
Rt Hon Winston Peters: Are there fundamental principles in this bill such as a ban on political policy being bought by outsiders, or political promotion being facilitated by outsiders, or, worse still, unhealthy—

Hon Dr Nick Smith: Have you paid the money back yet?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: Listen, loony tune, take control of yourself. Take your pills before you come down to the House, not halfway through question time.

Hon Dr Nick Smith: Have you paid up?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am serious. I am not a medical doctor but I have seen those symptoms before, and far too frequently in your case.
Frankly that sort of behaviour is unconscionable. Peters should hang his head in shame mocking someone who has or is still dealing with mental illness. He clearly hasn't taken one bit of notice of John Kirwan's ads.

As someone who suffers from depression and is trying to deal with it fuckwits like Winston Peters do not help. If that was me he said it to there would have been a better than even chance he would have been sitting back on his arse with a bloody nose.

Take note of that those socialist lickspittles who dissed me in much the same manner on Davids blog but have never ever had the temerity to front up when challenged.

it is despicable that a Minister of the Crown behaves in such a way.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
