It is the ninth New Zealand finance company to strike trouble in 16 months.
Finance and Investments had 370 investors who had invested $16 million with the company, and they were mainly made up of relations and soon to be ex friends of the business's two partners who own Finance and Investments.

There will be more, to be sure.
