The Governments grand strategy of making every one pay to feel good about saving the planet from a non-existant problem gets released today, and today we find out that Labour quakes in its boots when it thinks of angry farmers.

Thus, the angry farmers don't get to pay while the rest of New Zealand subsidises their "problem".

Heh, the irony is delicious. Clark and Cullen fought Muldoon and his government's penchant to subsidise farmers and now they do exactly the same thing.
