Learning his lesson?

Apparently Iain Two-Fathers has learned his lesson of being involved in Labour Party shenanigins.

Palmerston North MP Iain Lees-Galloway says he has learned a political lesson after being caught up in the Labour Party’s polling controversy.

Mr Lees-Galloway recruited volunteers for the polling and was in the room when senior MP Rick Barker advised using a phony company name and false personal names if that would make the volunteers feel more confident.

Mr Lees-Galloway said he had previously had no polling experience and his role was one of recruitment.

“I was in the room when Rick was briefing the volunteers,” he said.

“I had assisted him in recruiting some volunteers.”

Mr Lees-Galloway said the party acknowledged it had made a mistake.

It was a “useful political lesson” for the MP.

For a start Iain Two-fathers always seems to be on the scene of some crime, allegedly he was one of the ones helping load stolen piss from the Press Gallery party into the boot of the getaway car.

Secondly he lies like all Labour Party hacks. Labour has never acknowledged it had made a mistake. On the contrary, Darren Hughes the has justified it, Phil Goff has said nothing and Annette King, usually the Old Yella of parliament has also been strangely quiet. Rick Barker lied about it and the only the EMPU wing of the party has distanced itself from the whole debacle.

For him to say the party had acknowledged the mistake is a blatant lie. The fact that the repeaters at the Manawatu Standard let him get way with it is just as bad.

Never trust someone who doesn’t know who his father is.
