Misdirection and Mistruth

The dance of the desperates is in full flight. Trevor Mallard is trying to manufacture a crisis through a misleading blog post:

Basically Mallard is passing of his OIA request off as fact. He is asying that Simon Bridges told Key to man up and his evidence of that is two OIA reqquests he sentyeserday to which he hasn’t even got an answer.

That’s akin to me sending me a letter asking if I had an affair with Darien Fenton, then putting the letter on a website with a heading “Whaleoil loves Darien”, using the letter as proof.

It is dishonest, but then again everything Trevor Mallard does is dishonest.

Labour has launched all their policies, spent all of your money for the foreseeable future and so for the next 16 days they are going to fling murk, dirt and scandal because that is the only thing left in their playbook.

Only an inept campaign manager would send an OIA request 17 calendar days out from an election and expect a response before the election. I expect he will be disappointed with the reply.

Quite sad to see Labour reduced to this,  I pity their dwindling supporter base.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him, you can’t ignore him.
