Hamas is rearming

from the IDF blog:

Since Operation Cast Lead, Hamas has been intensively working to rearm itself and to pose a continuous threat to Israel’s civilian population.
Thousand of rockets and mortars have been smuggled into Gaza, reviving the terror infrastructure that was nearly dismantled by Israel in 2008.

In 2011 alone, 627 rockets and mortars and been fired from Gaza into Israel.

    No surprise at all.
It’s also no surprise that David Shearer’s mob (the U.N.) are doing nothing about either this or the Hamas-affiliated children’s TV show “Tomorrow’s Pioneers” which encourages children to become jihadists and suicide-bombers –

The UN deserves a great deal of bad luck during 2012.

One only has to read the Hamas charter, Article Seven in particular. Hamas is a terrorist organisation. Full stop.

Just like that terrorist  Sharon  ( still alive-  belonged to Haganah) and his predecessor Begin ( Irgun)

      • bristol

Unfortunately, your opinion doesn’t trump fact. The civilised world recognises Hamas as a terrorist organisation, that’s a fact.

Only in a warped mind like yours Slater could a person being banned from one website mean “there aren’t too many places” left to comment on the internet… are you retarded?

      • Grumpy

Doping horses? I know a fair bit about that subject……….

What difference does it make how many palestinians or Israelis have been killed? Like a game where you keep count. If Hamas are going to fire rockets into Israel, then they, and their people – sadly – will feel the consequences.

It’s like picking a fight with someone bigger than you. You get ignored for a while, until the bigger guy loses patience and decides to stomp on you.

The first thing that needs to happen is for the Palestinians, and the arab world, to recongise the right of Israel to exist. Peace can not occur until this acknowledgement is made.

Israel has a history of exchanging land for peace, and it will continue to do so when it has a partner that is actually serious about a lasting peace, rather than the annihilation of the Jewish state

    • Super Guest

Anti-Semitism is so rife in the Arab world that the idea of them accepting the Jewish state’s right to exist is a pipe dream at best, which is a shame. I despair for what’s going to happen to the Arab world once the oil runs out, it’ll probably revert to the stone-age culture the Jihadists are promoting.

Funny that the left side with the Jew hating Hamas, then make sweeping generalisations calling the right Nazis.

There’s a good set of quotes by Arab leaders about “Palestine” (Fakestine) here –
    http://arabterrorism.tripod.com/quotes.html

    A few examples –
    “The
interesting thing about “Palestinians” is that so few of the West Bank
Arabs thought of themselves as such before 1967. It post-dates the
founding of the PLO: Palestine had a national liberation movement before
it had a nationality. Likewise, because the Arab League designated
Yasser Arafat as a head of state, we’ve spent 30 years trying to create a
state for him to be head of. Most Arab nationalities — “Jordanian,”
“Iraqi” — were invented by the British Colonial Office in the Twenties,
and, although those languid Etonians came up with some evocative and
colourful names for their hastily concocted jurisdictions, for the most
part they’re comprehensive failures as nation states. It hardly seems
worth adding another bogus polity to the list.”

    – Mark Steyn, National Post, April 4, 2002
“The people are in great need of a ‘myth’ to fill their consciousness and imagination….”

    – Musa Alami, 1948

    “Since
1948 it is we who demanded the return of the refugees… while it is we
who made them leave…. We brought disaster upon … Arab refugees, by
inviting them and bringing pressure to bear upon them to leave…. We
have rendered them dispossessed…. We have accustomed them to
begging…. We have participated in lowering their moral and social
level…. Then we exploited them in executing crimes of murder, arson,
and throwing bombs upon … men, women and children–all this in the
    service of political purposes….”

    – Khaled Al-Azm, Syria’s Prime Minister after the 1948 war “Palestine
has never existed… as an autonomous entity. There is no language
known as Palestinian. There is no distinct Palestinian culture…. There
has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians….
Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another
recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc…. Keep in mind that
the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands. Israel
represents one-tenth of one percent of the landmass. But that’s too much
for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the
fighting in Israel is about today…. No matter how many land
concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough.”

    – from “Myths of the Middle East”, Joseph Farah, Arab-American editor and journalist, WorldNetDaily.Com, 11 October 2000 “The
Oslo accords were a Trojan Horse; the strategic goal is the liberation
of Palestine from the [Jordan] river to the [Mediterranean] sea”

Faysal Al-Husseini, Palestinian Authority Minister for Jerusalem
Affairs, in his last interview, ‘Al-Arabi’ daily newspaper (Egypt), June
24, 2001″It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but southern Syria.”

    – Ahmed Shuqeiri, later the chairman of the PLO, to the UN Security Council

    “You
do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one
point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian People, there is no
Palestinian entity, there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the
Syrian people, Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore it is
we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the
    Palestinian people.”

    – Syrian President Hafez Assad to PLO leader Yassir Arafat.

    “There
are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and
Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political
reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity…. yes,
the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical
purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the
    continuing battle against Israel.”

    – Zuheir Muhsin, late Military Department head of the PLO and member of its Executive Council (Dutch daily Trouw, March 1977)

    A good video –
    “Palestine – the great deception”

  • Brian Smaller

The image shows just how small Israel is when pissy little rockets lauched from the back of a schoolyard can hit almost the entire country.  But to the left and the Arabs, it could be a hectare and they would still want to slaughter everyone in it.

What would be interesting is David Shearer’s opinions on these matters. Given his stated expertise in international relations and staring down terrorists, he should be able to solve these issues before another 50 million lives are lost.

    • Willsomers101

His expertise is feeding the starving not as a kiwi kissinger

      • Apolonia

If Shearer’s expertise is in handing out what belongs to others he will be an ideal leader for Labour.
