Moonlighting, Ctd

Once again it looks like Trademe Trev has been moonlighting overseas and giving advice to some pommy bastards:

Eric Joyce, the Labour MP for Falkirk, has been arrested after a fracas in a bar at the House of Commons, it is understood.

Police were called to the House of Commons bar, believed to be Stranger’s Bar, just before 11pm last night.

Mr Joyce, 51, was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to a police station in central London. Today he was suspended from the Labour party.

It was claimed Mr Joyce “started lashing out” at people in the bar, which is for MPs and their guests. One of his victims was reported to be Conservative MP Stuart Andrew while he was also alleged to have hit another Labour MP.

A witness told PoliticsHome that Mr Joyce allegedly pushed a Conservative member before punching others at the back of the bar.

The brawl was believed to have started after Mr Joyce, who has been convicted of drink-driving, apparently complained the bar was “full of Tories”.

Certainly sounds like he has.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
