worthless! his credibility is about as valuable as last month’s yoghurt.

    • no, no, last months yoghurt may have some use, unlike Mallard’s credibility

      • Hakim of phut

So someone who said ” I will not raise GST” has more credibility than mallard ?

      • Gazzaw

        Yes.

  • Hakim of phut

At lest his trademe ratings are skyhigh.

  • middleagedwhiteguy

    Mallard’s been “Scooby doo’d”

“I would have gotten away with it if it weren’t for those damn meddling kids!”

  • Sarrs

WO needs to do a poll – was this stupidity or arrogance on Mallard’s behalf?

    • Troy

Given he is a former Labour Minister of the Crown it must be both.  Perhaps the teflon coat Helen Clark gave him when she left has worn too thin for the antics he gets up to.

  • Sarrs

    My vote is for arrogance

    • Greg M

Option C, all of the above.

it is a matter of perception..jackal..

..him sponsering an anti-scalping legislation dosen’t help his case..

..and what compounds matters is that his trade me record reveals him to be a serial-scalper/ticket-trader..

    ..the mind boggles..

..is he short of a buck..?

    ..does he also kerb-crawl garage-sales..

Trev.   If Philu is saying this about you, you’re dog tucker.

    •  Crikey; a comment from Phil that I agree with!

      • Thorn

        A very rare lucid moment.

      • STEVE AND MONIQUE

        Sad but true

  • SalaciousTCrumb

    Maybe Mastercard could assist here.

    Tickets to Homegown Festival: $95ea
    Scalped on Trade Me: $164ea
Hypocrisy after being the one who introduced anti-scalping legislation: PRICELESS

  • JJ

I didn’t think he had any credibility left and if he did I wouldn’t pay $1 for it…

  • Roflcopter

    There’s no “Buy Now” option.

  • Hakim of phut

Its not hypocrisy  for mallard to have legislation passed to prevent scalping  (above face value) for ‘really major events’ as these  sort of events ( RWC etc )  were supported by big amounts of taxpayers  cash.

And often the promoters and others onsell their allocations at a profit as well.
This way the RWC  got all the money  and the taxpayers were protected to some extent

    • Bunswalla

So scalping is OK for small events that nobody in Wellington has even heard of (like Homegrown that has had 5 straight years of being sold out), for medium-sized events, and even for big events. Just not ‘really major events’? Is that what you’re saying – really?

So Mallard is OK to break Ticketek’s terms and conditions and profiteer with a 73% mark-up, despite introducing legislation to prevent that very thing?

It’s a bit like you saying your goat is only a little bit pregnant after you rooted it. I’m guessing the ‘Phut” in your name is the sound your knob-end makes when you remove it from the said animal.

      • Hakim just go phut, you poor excuse for an apologist

    •  @ Hakin; are you Francesca Mold in real life? Or Trevor’s latest better half? Mate; even Eddie and co at The Standard are throwing him to the wolves, and when that happens, you’re dog-tucker!

    • Bobo the Idiot

Typical of do as I say idiot not as I do…..   Total arrogance.

  • Jester

I look forward to the next newspaper headline: “Mallard challenges kids to bike race!”

    • Hakim of phut

With all the music , literature and art available in the world and you are interested  in the opposition  associate finance spokesperson.
      G a L

      • Jester

And with all the left leaning blogs available you spend all your time here?

        Wake up dumbfuck.

      • RightNow

        Winner

      • and you spend all your time defending the indefensible, are you Trevor in disguise?

      • Gazzaw

You seem to have more than a passing interest in the opposition associate finance spokesperson HoP.

  • obvious headline:..

    “..mallard scalps himself..”

    [email protected]

    • Tom

      Heh

    •  That’s two of Phil’s comments today I’ve agreed with!

Have you not smoked a joint yet today Phil? You’re making sense for once :-)

    • Vij

For once, you actually make sense.  Thank you and well done.

    • Doug_S

See you do have some valuable things to say..that is some comedy genius Phil max points for that one.

  • Agent BallSack

I think we should go easy on Trev. It can’t be easy being the illegitimate love child of Fred Dagg and Lynn of Tawa.

    • Vij

      Ha, ha

    • Travdog

heh nice one. likely to spawn nightmares, but nice one.

    • Oh no Fred Dagg & Lynn of Tawa had much more class than Trevor will ever have!

  • STEVE AND MONIQUE

    Not worth one brass razoo.

  • Doug_S

Auction withdrawn by the administrator…party poopers!

  • Super_Guest
