Sledge of the Day

 The Age

Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone and his big-spending daughter have hit back at a Victorian MP who labelled her a “billionaire bogan”.

Tamara Ecclestone used Twitter to respond to federal Labor MP Kelvin Thomson’s attack on her lavish lifestyle during a speech in Federal Parliament this week.

“Surprised Kelvin Thompson (sic) has the time to watch and comment on #billiondollargirl being an MP,” she wrote.

Loks like Kelvin Thomson has been learning how to waste time from Trevor Mallard.

Isn’t kelvin Thomson the MP the rose to attention as being a little loose with the union credit card? Does anyone know what ultimately happened here?

These wealthy prats that give their offspring VAST amounts of money shoul remember what the arabs say

Tthe grandfather rode a camel, the father drove a car, the grandson flies an aeroplane and the great grandson will ride a camel.

Two of the wealthiest families in the UK are the Vesteys and the Swires one of the great Hongs in Hong Kong.

When the sons were old enough they were sent out to work,  Vestey sent his sons to work in thje freezing works or on the cattle stations Swires sent their sons to work in shipping agencies in the back end of Japan and in other ground floor places of the huge company so they learnt the business from the ground up.  Maybe Mr Ecclestone should tell his daughters to go out an start at the bottom of the business and not have it handed to them on a plate.
