Face of the Day

The Big Bang Theory actor Jim Parsons has skipped the “I’M GAY!” magazine cover approach to coming out: Far down in a New York Times profile on Wednesday was the subtle mention that the two-time Emmy winner has been in a same-sex relationship for a decade.

The blink-and-you’ll miss it aside appeared in a story about Parsons’ starring stint in the Broadway production of Harvey.

Discussing Parsons’ small role in the play The Normal Heart – about gay men dying of AIDS – the story noted: “The Normal Heart resonated with him on a few levels: Mr Parsons is gay and in a 10-year relationship, and working with an ensemble again onstage was like nourishment, he said.”

Parsons played young gay activist Tommy Boatwright in the play.

    Quote found on The Awl

“If you call a lawyer and say you’re white, a dude, and str8 he’ll say you’ve got no case. True story.”

Quoted from networking site twitter by Max Read, where it originally appeared from David Bingies (names quoted from memory).

To be fair, he’s never portrayed himself as heterosexual either.  Seems some journalist in search of a sensation has interviewed his Google!  Does that happen??……

    Who cares?!

    • Yep who cares. It was hardly news and anyone who has watched Big Bang Theory knows anyway.

And thats the point that we would like particular hetrosexuals to get.

Give us equal rights, then carry on. You wont even know who we are or where we are.

All the idiots who blather on about “oh they are in our face” would get their desire of us being as unnoticable as any straight person in a room if all were equal.
