Photo of the Day

Nearly 44 years ago I was born in Suva, Fiji.

Apart from a holiday once when I was a child I haven’t been back to Fiji.

This week I have been in Fiji conducting interviews and will release those next week with a series of observations on Fiji.

Yesterday I managed to find the house we lived in when I was born, on Statham Street at Suva Point.

Wonderful to see this. So you are a real Fijian Cameron! Can you get a dual passport?

  • Sooty

I see they put bars on the windows. They dont want you back.

Louvre windows Sooty, it’s hotter than a snakes arse in a wagon rut in Suva.

Cameron, Canvas the opinions of the Josefa and Joanna and I’m sure you will find their honest outlook on the political landscape, the economy, the relevance of the Pacific Islands Forum.

  • We lived on Nadi Airport from 1957-61, have been back to see our old place and school etc, but I won’t go to Fiji again until they get democracy. Don’t like validating the current thuggery.
