Diary of Comrade Kate, Ctd

Bad day. Really bad day. My poor friend Craig has been horribly mistreated by the capitalist press, and he is now being charged with spending money on houses of ill repute. The silly capitalists at Fairfax didn’t understand Craig was just doing a fact finding mission to see if he could enlist some of these women into his union.

Was so angry I rang up those rednecks at fish and game and to piss off, and then rang that class traitor Len and told him he would get his beans at the next election if he didn’t look after our comrades at the port.

Didn’t feel like lunch, had a lamington. Was not bad, not as good as the ones when I was with my comrades on the picket line on the wharves in Sydney when that scumbag Howard pushed through privatisation. We had some great sing a longs in those days.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
