Diary of Comrade Kate, Ctd

Good Day. Had a lovely catch up with Darien, she is such a saint listening to all my problems and empathising with me. She says I am the best Minister of Industrial Relations in the world who has served for a tory party. Nice to be appreciated, she is so right, I am the only tory in living memory who has increased union membership.

Those ratbags at Crest have been harassing me again. They don’t understand, I am not going to do anything to hurt our union comrades, and I don’t care how unfair the law is, or what I have promised, I will make my mind up when I want to. I’ve got Wayne onside, he is protecting me hard out from the horrible tories in cabinet who don’t understand how hard I am trying to help our comrades.

Tomato Soup for lunch, a bit salty and bread rolls that are in my hand bag for the food bank are a bit stale.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
