What a day

I thought today would be the second worst day of my life. But it wasn’t.

Sure we laughed, and we cried, but mostly we shared the wonderful life and legacy that my mother created for her and her family.

The funeral went exactly as planned by Mum, right down to the timing.

Many thanks to the hundreds of friends and family who attended and thanks to those who couldn’t be there but sent message of support. It was wonderful to see so many people honour Mum.

For now I am very tired…it has been a tough, tough year. I am so very grateful to those who have assisted me over this year, you all know who you are.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
