100,000 homes…nah just joking

After David Shearer’s confession that Labour’s affordable housing flats promise is dishonest, this clip from last week’s interview with Grant Robertson on Newstalk ZB becomes more relevant.

So, not only is the price of Labour’s ‘affordable home flat’ now a moving feast, but the actual number they propose to build is up in the air too.

The maths never added up in the first place with only $1.5 billion being put aside to fund 100,000 houses…which we now know aren’t houses at all, more likely blocks of teeny tiny flats.
