A ball breaker named Collins gets arrested

Seriously..it’s true, a woman with the surname of Collins has been arrested for kicking people in the genitals:

A Southwest Florida woman accused of kicking people’s genitals has been charged with battery on a law enforcement officer after punching him in the face, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

The deputy responded about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday to a dispatch call of a “female in the street kicking people in genitals and running around,” according to a police report.

Katina Collins, who matched the description of the woman, walked away from the deputy who asked her to stop. The foot pursuit ended with Collins allegedly turning and punching the deputy, causing his sunglasses to fall off, according to the sheriff’s office.

The deputy was able to get Collins on the ground. She allegedly attempted to scratch the deputy while he handcuffed her, the report said.

Collins, charged with battery on an officer, is being held at the Manatee County jail on a $1,500 bond.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
