Labour Strategy? Shearer for President!

Seen on Reddit today

Shit, Labour. I know Shearer has an image problem but could you tone it down a little?

What is interesting is that Labour are clearly betting the farm on a Presidential Style head-to-head fight against John Key.

Eeeehm….

“Labour are clearly betting the farm on a Presidential Style head-to-head fight against John Key.”

I hope so. I *really do* hope so.

I don’t think they have any choice. Almost all of their policies stink (the only good one being the rise in age for Super eligibility). Given that, they’ve pretty much been painted into a corner and this is the result. Bloody awful website design, though. *Seriously* hard on the eyes.

I *really do* hope so as well. Key will smash him on the 1-2-1 leaders debate. Agree also about the website. Duckfuck Mallard probably had a hand in that and given he fucks up everything else to do with the Labour party its no surprise the webpage is too loud and busy.

New era ( no same as the old fucking one )
New solutions ( bigger bribes )

  • Stuart Dumphries

Five David Shearer’s, and none of them capable of stringing a sentence together. Key will be licking his chops….

  • fuck, as long as those arent links to him TALKING.

they can try to pull the wool over NZs EYES but they cant pull it over our EARS.

180 degree change from the Goff approach. But neither approach papers over the cracks.

  • Mr_V4

Didn’t see the link through to Trevtek.

    Shearer,striving for mediocrity.

… and consistently fails to achieve even that level…

  • lofty

Yes, well he may be setting up for a presidential type confrontation, just so long as Trev and the opposition leader remember, the position of the 1st president of the republic of Aotearoa is reserved for Presidente Clark.
And dont any of you forget it.

Sky should buy the rights to the Leaders Debates and put them on pay-per-view – they’re gonna be GOLD!

Good Lord, President of what. David Shearer can’t string a sentence together. Ask him a question, and all you get is his eye brows raised. He come’s across as thick as two short planks. Hands on, Hands on that is all I have heard him say through bumbling speech.
